The box design for the DVD set of Season 3 of “Strangers with Candy” is now online. Go to our
merchandise page to check it out and pre-order. Reportedly, the extras will be blooper reels,
dance sequence compilation, and animated opening storyboards. No word yet on whether there
will be episode commentary. Release date is Sept. 28, 2004.

According to Playbill and IMDB, Amy has been cast as “Frances” in Romance & Cigarettes, a
“big-screen musical … being described as Pennies From Heaven meets The Honeymooners, as set
in Bensonhurst, N.Y.” The movie is currently in production.

According to this story and this story, Amy’s is among “names being floated around” to replace
Craig Kilborn on CBS’s The Late, Late Show, which follows Letterman on weeknights. Others
are Jeffrey Ross and Jillian Barberie. Douchebag Kilborn is leaving because he and CBS couldn’t

In case you missed Amy’s appearance a few months ago on Letterman’s “4 a.m.” show, it’ll be
re-run Thursday, August 12. She gives viewers a tour of her neighborhood, with special emphasis
on gay video stores.
