Wigfield

Wigfield: The Can-Do Town That Just May Not is a new book by Amy and her partners in crime
Paul Dinello and Stephen Colbert. It’s available for pre-order from Amazon. It will be performed
as a play at symphonyspace in May.

Amy on “Sex and the City”

If you’ve missed Amy on Sex and the City, HBO will be re-running “Cover Girl” on Jan. 5 and 6
and “Plus One is the Loneliest Number” on Jan. 10, 12 and 13. Check your cable guide for
precise times.

Amy on Letterman again

Here’s a reason to be thankful – Amy’s going to be on Letterman on Thursdsay, Nov. 28.
Letterman airs at 10:35 Central/11:35 Eastern on most CBS affiliates. She is one of his favorite
guests, so don’t miss it. The musical guest that night will be the Strokes, one of the most
overrated bands in the history of rock music. Should be good!

New sitcom

Amy will soon be a regular in a new sitcom, according to E! Online (last item): “Former Mad
About You star Paul Reiser is mad about FX. The comedian is developing an untitled sitcom for
the cable network and has recruited the likes of Kissing Jessica Stein’s Jennifer Westfeldt. Reiser
writes and co-executive produces the show, which is being filmed in New York. Amy Sedaris,
Mark McKinney, Alec Mapa and Max Beesley have also joined the cast of the ensemble comedy
that revolves around the randomly connected lives of various New Yorkers.”

Monk

Amy apparently has sneaked under our radar and made a guest appearance on the excellent
ABC/USA Networks series “Monk.” She is in “Mr. Monk and the Earthquake,” which will be
re-run Monday, Oct. 7, at 9 p.m. central and again on Thursday, Oct. 10, at 10 p.m. central. Both
reruns will be on the USA Network. Amy’s playing the sister of Sharona, Monk’s personal
assistant.
