Amy is scheduled to appear on Late Night with Seth Meyers this coming Tuesday night (9/2) on NBC. And as a bonus, the other scheduled guest is Stephen Colbert!
Also, for New Yorkers! Amy will be the special guest for the Live TV Guidance Counselor Podcast during New York Super Week on October 5th, 7 p.m. at the Brooklyn Brewery. Tickets are only $10 and are on sale now (must be at least 21 years old).
Miss Amy on the Tonight Show last Friday? Check this out.
You can also catch a great new interview with Amy over at the Daily Beast.
To kick off the launch of I LIKE YOU, Amy’s new line of kitchen and entertaining wares, Fishs Eddy is holding a raffle! Head on over to their site to find out how you can enter to win an Amy Sedaris starter kit and a pair of potholders made by Amy herself. Good luck!
And don’t forget to catch Amy on Jimmy Fallon tomorrow night (Friday, August 22) on NBC!
Super exciting news! Amy has teamed up with the ridiculously fun, New York-based dishware purveyor Fishs Eddy to release a line of kitchenware and entertaining supplies! The [cheerful and, of course, adorable] collection, entitled ‘I Like You,’ features juice glasses, tumblers, glass bowls, dish towels, a platter, paper plates and more with patterns taken from Amy’s 2013 fabric line. The collection is already available online at Fishs Eddy’s website (although I don’t think everything has been listed yet at time of writing–I know there’s at least still a popcorn bowl yet to come). I believe it will hit stores next month, though I’m fairly certain that it’s already out at Fishs Eddy’s NYC store. Check it out!
Just a heads up, Amy is scheduled to appear on Jimmy Fallon next Friday night, August 22 (11:30/10:30C on NBC)!
Okay, I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I have a few updates, yay!
First, Amy shares lots of fantastic tips on rabbit care and what to consider about owning a pet rabbit in this new interview on style.com. I actually have my own ancient 13-14 year-old mini rex rabbit (who happens to have a recipe named after him in Simple Times: Crafts for Poor People), and yes, bunnies absolutely are the best pets. :) And yeah, it’s true what she says–that rabbits will basically own you and destroy all your stuff, but you can’t help but to love ‘em! You can also check out a related post on today’s style.com blog: Amy Sedaris Dresses Like A Scarecrow, Looks Good Doing It.
Now, in totally unrelated news, Amy will be returning to two renewed shows! Amazon’s political comedy Alpha House was renewed for a second season, and Amy will once again be joining the cast–presumably reprising her role as a senator’s wife. Prime subscribers can watch the entire first season here (even though she was guest cast, Amy appeared in most epsiodes of season one).
Last but not least, Adult Swim renewed its gothic-horror-comedy/soap opera/mini series The Heart, She Holler for a third season. Amy originally joined the cast in 2013, taking over the role originally played by Kristen Schaal. She’ll be returning as Hurshe Heartshe–a sleazy, white trash woman who’s constantly plotting to take over the town.
Oh, and one more! If you missed them while they were in theaters… Amy has small parts in Chef and Ping-Pong Summer, both of which are coming to Blu-Ray/DVD next month, and they’re both really fun flicks. Check them out!
